Sr. Business Development Manager

UtilityAPI, a mission-driven software company in the clean energy sector, is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead critical initiatives in sales, partnerships, and operations. The ideal candidate will drive strategic growth, contribute to the energy transition, and support anticipated exponential growth.

Skills

Consulting, project management, implementation, or sales experience in utility industries
Understanding of clean tech or utility space with knowledge of industry trends
Project management skills from conception to completion
Knowledge of SaaS business models and ability to communicate technical concepts

Responsibilities

Support the Sales team in critical day-to-day activities and outreach to potential customers and partners
Lead strategic initiatives and project manage cross-functional contributors
Serve as the sales team representative in formal proposal development
Ensure internal reporting requirements are met and contribute to pipeline growth
Support strategic account planning and execution
