UX Designer

The Opportunity:

Vianai is looking for an experienced User Experience Designer who will help define and deliver a human-centered AI experience throughout a growing collection of ML products. Our ideal User Experience Designer is hands-on, collaborative, self-motivated, and innovative. We hope you will be as excited as we are to create a human-centered AI products poised for rapid growth and continued success. You will gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and architects to design and prototype conceptual interfaces for AI applications using the latest tools and technology that will deliver superior user experiences.

Expectations:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and architects.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate an application look and feel.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX issues.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of enterprise as a software product designer, ideally with an understanding of data science and MLOps.
• BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven work experience with a UI/UX design portfolio of design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (such as Wireframe.cc, InVision, Adobe XD, Visio, or similar tools).
• Team spirit and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, or equivalent experience.
