UX Researcher

Role: UX Researcher

Reports To: Head of Product

Job Overview: In this role, the UX Researcher works closely with the Product Designer and Manager, the Marketing, and Brand Strategy teams in validating new concepts and improving on the existing products for the purpose of enhancing the user experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work with multi-disciplinary product teams to understand and define open questions, hypotheses, and success metrics to shape research.
• Define and execute research methods appropriate to the questions at hand, which can range across user testing, surveys, interviews, AB tests, and secondary research.
• Provide insights and thoughts to the leadership team, product teams, and the broader organization to inspire innovations and guide teams on how to address top customer and business needs
• Bring new ideas and expertise to help continue raising the quality of research across the team.
• Validate new HW/SW features with users. Articulate key insights through clear and comprehensive written reports, compelling visuals, data visualization, frameworks, decks, and documentary-style video clips.
• Build user testing strategies, create test plans and test cases. Interpret and report testing results.
• Mentor or directly manage junior UX researchers/research assistants.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience contributing to the design of successful digital products and services, with a portfolio demonstrating past work experience, deliverables, and the ability to extract actionable insights from data that illustrates how your research contributed to this success.
• Broad experience designing and running quantitative studies.
• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Industrial Designer, Human-Robot Interaction, Human-Computer Interaction, or other related UX research fields or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in HRI is a plus.
