Vaco Atlanta is working with an impressive organization in Columbus, GA seeking a Payroll Manager. This is a CONTRACT position with a hybrid work schedule. Only candidates in the Albany, Americus, Columbus, Macon and Atlanta, GA area will be considered since in-office work is required.Position:The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing two Payroll Specialists and accurately and effectively processing biweekly payroll for multi-state employees. The Manager would also need to know how to manage multi-state and international payroll requirements.Experience/Requirements:• 3+ years of payroll experience plus implementation experience is preferred.• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.• Must be comfortable with full-cycle, high-volume payroll demands.• Payroll tax and garnishment knowledge is required.• Preferred experience in PeopleSoft and Workday payroll.• Preferred experience with non-profit and international payroll.• Must be able to learn quickly and retain information.
