Vaco is actively seeking a Scrum Master with AWS experience for a direct-hire opportunity with our client in Memphis.This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected national organization that is a leader in their field!Scrum Master SummaryThe ideal candidate will hold Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) designation with hands-on experience in AWS environments.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum methodologies, excellent facilitation skills, and a solid understanding of AWS modules and product offerings.Key Responsibilities:• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.• Serve as a coach and mentor for team members, helping them understand and adopt Scrum principles and practices.• Work closely with Product Owners to define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring that user stories are clear and well-defined.• Remove impediments and roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress, working to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.• Monitor and report on team performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and achieve project goals.• Leverage AWS services and tools to enhance development processes and improve team efficiency.• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, Scrum best practices, and AWS innovations to continuously improve your skills and the team's performance.Qualifications:• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification is highly desired.• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in agile environments, preferably with experience in AWS projects.• Familiarity with AWS services and how they can be integrated into agile development processes.• Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies, Agile principles, and software development life cycles.• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, etc) are a plus.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.Additional Details:• Employment Type: Direct-Hire• Schedule: Hybrid with Mondays and Fridays being remote• Start Date: Immediate• Location: Memphis, TN• Target Compensation: $115k to $125k plus bonus potential• Employment Status: Corp-to-Corp or employment sponsorship is not being consideredInterested Candidates are Encouraged to Apply for Immediate Consideration!
