Interim Revenue Accounting Manager (Backfill)

Revenue Accounting ManagerOur client, a fast-growing pre-IPO company in the technology industry, is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage operational revenue projects and ensure accurate and timely month-end processes. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and play a key role in preparing the accounting department for an IPO.Responsibilities• Manage revenue accounting tasks and projects related to month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, including data review and clean-up for audits.• Perform contract analysis for compliance and revenue implications under ASC 606, working with cross-functional partners to gather necessary information.• Execute monthly revenue accounting close procedures, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, analysis, and reporting.• Support external audit requirements, including compiling revenue detail reports and other revenue and A/R related schedules.• Provide support to the accounting department for month-end completion and reporting.• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis, including monthly and quarterly financial reports.Key Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Commerce); CPA preferred but not required.• Experience in Ad Tech revenue, media/marketing, or fintech is highly desirable.• 7-9 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, with a preference for public accounting experience and companies on fast growth tracks.• Experience with NetSuite; familiarity with Ramp is a plus.• Pre-IPO and high growth company experience required.• Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and pre-IPO technical accounting areas.• Advanced Excel skills and system savvy with a hands-on, self-starter approach.
