SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR: The primary responsibility of this role is to be a subject matter expert and a utility system administrator for all technology under the ownership of IT. This role will be actively involved with long-term planning as well as helping to define what changes and requirements are needed to obtain business objectives. This role will also be required to ensure reliability of all business-critical systems and make sure that the execution of changes have minimal to no impact on business operations.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience across multiple platforms, understand best practices with regards to identity/access control, security, data governance, and general system administration.

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Flexible remote or hybrid setup in Minneapolis, MN; Jacksonville, FL; Boston, MA; San Diego, CA
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of endpoints, network infrastructure, servers, general office infrastructure, and SaaS solutions under IT control.
Maintain software across the organization using MDM (Intune), manage upgrades gracefully, and patch as needed to address vulnerabilities as appropriate.
Create and maintain documentation for all internal IT procedures, policies, and environment. This role will be responsible for documenting procedures related to projects as well.
Ensure regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
Perform general network administration troubleshooting and maintenance for offices as needed.
Participate in an on-call rotation and work outside normal hours when required for maintenance and critical issues.
Collaborate with technical contacts from vendors and customers to resolve complex technical problems and escalate issues when necessary.
Conduct troubleshooting and support users both within offices and remotely located in the US and Philippines.
Design and implement an effective identity program that includes secure measures for authentication, IGA, and as much automation as possible for onboarding and offboarding users.
Assist with new employee and general IT training sessions as needed.
Assist in facilitating cybersecurity awareness and best practices training, including phishing campaigns for end users.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in a network or systems administrator role, 7+ years minimum.
Working knowledge of networking, including general routing, switching, and wireless management. Cisco (Meraki) experience preferred.
General system administration experience, including configuration management, and exposure to managing resources within a cloud environment - AWS or Azure.
Advanced knowledge of managing endpoints via MDM. Intune preferred.
Experience with patching methodologies and experience working within a vulnerability management process to address low-impact and zero-day vulnerabilities as appropriate.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive required.
System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, AWS, Azure, or other related areas are a plus.
Exposure to general project management and best practices.
Excellent proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional customer service and ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple competing priorities.
Excellent communication and writing skills required.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Acute attention to detail.
