We are looking for an exceptional Senior People Business Partner to support Vanta’s People, Legal, Finance and Security teams!
You’ll play a critical role in accelerating Vanta’s growth and helping our leaders build, develop and retain world-class teams. Vanta’s People Business Partner (PBP) team is unique and our PBPs are exceptionally talented - they are “quarterbacks” for all People matters for the leaders and managers they support, and deeply involved in the business, given that our overall touchstone is that all People Team initiatives tie back to clear business outcomes.
Examples of work that our PBP team does include leading change management, partnering on org design and strategy, driving people initiatives to engage and retain talent. You will be functionally embedded with the teams you support, and work with cross-functional stakeholders on their behalf, in order to help them achieve their business outcomes. Our PBP team is world class, and has historically delivered outsized service and outcomes. We’re looking for the most thoughtful, practical, and business-minded BPs to join the team and maintain/raise the bar!
What you’ll do as a Senior People Business Partner at Vanta:
Serve as a trusted thought partner, consultant and coach to senior leaders across your client group and leaders, including the CFO, the CISO and Chief People & Legal Officer and their respective teams.
Be the primary point of contact on all people-related matters for global team members at all levels
Partner with your leaders to foster and drive a high performance culture and environment, driving initiatives that improve employee performance, engagement and retention
Provide support, guidance and thought leadership on areas such as performance management, change management, employee relations, workforce and talent planning, career development, manager development, etc.
Collect and analyze data to deliver insights and drive recommendations that support the business
Assess organizational health and effectiveness on a regular basis and identify opportunities to drive improvements and efficiencies
Drive the project management and execution of critical People programs such as performance reviews, compensation planning, talent reviews, and engagement surveys
How to be successful in this role:
5+ years of experience as a PBP supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment; experience with high-growth companies a plus. Experience supporting G&A teams is a plus
Highly solutions oriented with demonstrated strong judgment. Can proactively guide leaders through difficult decision making and challenges.
Strong business acumen and insatiable curiosity to learn how the business and your client groups operate
Excellent influencer, communicator, facilitator, and listener with a balanced and thoughtful approach to building trust across all levels of the organization
Creativity and grit to skillfully problem solve and navigate dynamic, ambiguous situations
Outstanding project management and organizational skills
Ability to analyze data and effectively communicate key insights, getting resourceful when data might not be readily available
A demonstrated track record of bias for action, rolling up your sleeves and getting things done

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The salary or OTE range for this position is $180,000 - $212,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
