Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Propulsion
Vast is on a mission to create artificial gravity space stations for long-term stays in space. They are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop systems required for these innovative projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software

Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for environmental control systems
- Design and activate ground support equipment and test articles
- Operate and maintain manufacturing and testing equipment
- Create detailed manufacturing plans and work instructions
- Identify and resolve manufacturing challenges
- Collaborate with design teams for manufacturability input
- Work closely with suppliers for component delivery
- Perform assembly, integration, and testing of components
- Establish quality control processes for manufacturing
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
