By removing the pain from delivery and returns, Veho is creating powerful opportunities for brands to engage and build deep loyalty with their customers like never before.About the RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer on the Facilities Team, you will play a crucial role in developing software to support our end-to-end supply chain operations, covering everything from first-mile to last-mile delivery. These systems are essential to Veho's mission of delivering a next-generation shipping experience. You will work on both greenfield and existing projects, involving full-stack development, mobile applications, and cloud technologies, to enhance our logistics and warehouse management systems.Responsibilities• Develop robust software applications that support our warehousing and sorting systems.• Leverage AWS and other cloud technologies to design and implement systems in a serverless and event driven environment.• Work with the Product and Design team to prioritize high impact initiatives and projects.• Work closely with technical and non-technical end-users, engineers, and product managers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.• Analyzing code, requirements, system risks, and software reliability and providing recommendations on how to leverage our technology more efficiently• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions to improve code quality.What You Bring:• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.• 4+ years of experience building, testing and deploying applications in high traffic production environments• 4+ years of experience developing software with Javascript, Node.js and React• Enjoys taking initiative, is a self-starter, willing to move fast and ship quick, and is excited about collaborating on big challenges• Enthusiastic about working closely with product and operations team members to develop creative solutions problems particularly within the supply chain domain.• Tech Stack: AWS, Typescript, Node.js, React• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience• Solid software development background including serverless patterns, data structures, test driven development• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information effectively to internal and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in logistics or warehouse management systems is highly desirable.• Experience working in a remote first environment.• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.• Experience with React Native for building mobile applications.• Strong skills in React and Node.js for end-to-end development.• Knowledge of automated sorting systems is a plus.Join our Facilities Team to make a significant impact by developing innovative solutions that enhance our warehousing and sorting operations. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company.
