Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to become part of our expanding team. Sales Engineers will focus on our innovative and advanced products, taking on responsibilities such as delivering product presentations, offering reliable technical guidance, and clearly communicating the benefits of our offerings to foster strong relationships with our partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on the company's products and solutions to potential clients, including resellers, end-users, and distributors
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to conduct detailed discovery conversations with prospective customers to ascertain their environments and needs
  • Assist clients in designing tailored products or solutions
  • Clearly convey the company's technical value proposition, unique differentiators, and capabilities
  • Provide reliable technical advice and recommendations to clients
  • Build effective working relationships with partner organizations to ensure successful collaboration in addressing customer requirements
  • Showcase products and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels, including executives and technical teams, during both pre-sales and post-sales phases
  • Conduct training sessions on existing and new company products/solutions for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Respond to tenders and inquiries, creating comprehensive proposals
  • Work directly with sales and account teams to support pre-sales initiatives
  • Maintain close collaboration with Product Management by incorporating customer feedback into the product development roadmap.

  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: switching, wireless, and routing
  • Experience in preparing business solution proposals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French is an asset
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience in the area of pre-sales activities
  • Diploma in Computer Technology-related discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
  • Industry-recognized certificates are assets
  • 5 years Networking Engineer experience
