Process/Manufacturing Engineer
Veolia is currently searching for an engineer to support the production of membranes at our Minnetonka, MN plant. The production of water purification membranes is a growing business which addresses the ever-increasing need for clean water. We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong chemical or mechanical engineer to support our manufacturing facility. Come be a part of this exciting and growing technology!
Success Looks Like:
Provide engineering support for the operation of a membrane production line, including day to day troubleshooting, performance tracking, process documentation updates, etc.
Collaborate and effectively interface with manufacturing, technology, quality, maintenance, sales, marketing, and other internal and external support teams to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget
Establish, track, and monitor key production metrics (Availability, Cost of Quality, EHS)
Drive process improvements by identifying, developing, and leading improvements and projects to meet key production metrics
Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues – mechanical, chemical, electrical, controls
Develop, write, and review new process documentation
Potential for on call or extended hours support
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience, manufacturing environment preferred
Desired Qualifications
Experience leading capital projects
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions (Root Cause Analysis)
Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, team, and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
