Payroll Analyst
Veritone is looking for a dynamic Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with regulations. The role involves analyzing payroll data and enhancing payroll operations.
Skills
- Workday experience
- Google Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Process multi-state bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using Workday
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Assist with tax compliance using ADP SmartCompliance
- Reconcile payroll files and reports
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Analyze and file payroll tax reports
- Support system implementations and upgrades
- Develop documentation for payroll procedures
- Conduct checks to ensure accuracy in payroll data
- Stay informed of changes in payroll laws and regulations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Payroll Certification (FPC or CPP) a plus
