Verkada’s Hardware Sustaining Engineers ensure that we are always shipping high quality products to our customers.Responsibilities• Support products from initial mass production through end of life• Follow-up on RMA trends, report on quality/RMA status to cross functional teams, and drive corrective action back through manufacturing as necessary• Review and define quality test standards to minimize design quality issues• Audit and evaluate JDM quality systems, define manufacturing quality metrics, monitor production quality, and work with JDM partners to drive continuous improvement• Work with JDM on continuous improvement on yields and process/test stability• Work with the JDM partners on qualifying new component sources• Work with the Hardware team through EVT, DVT and pilot production to help ensure a high quality productRequirements• BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred• 1-4 years experience in a hardware manufacturing environment• Ability to travel up to 15%US Employee BenefitsVerkada is committed to investing in the holistic health and well-being of all employees and their families. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package.
