Position Overview:

Verra Mobility is seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and strategically focused Global Contracts Manager to join our growing Supply Chain team within the Government Solutions (GS) business unit. As Global Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role between our domestic and international suppliers, our internal business segments, and our end customers. This position will be responsible for engaging with our internal Legal team to review and advise on requests for proposal (RFP), bids, contract offers, orders, awards, letters of contract, representations and certifications, contracts, wind-down agreements, and other contract related documents, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Effectively budgets time, works efficiently and accurately, and follows procedures with minimum supervision. Assists in the preparation of budget projections related to current contracts, which will be consistent with accomplishing overall fiscal expectations.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of GS contract requirements along with a solid knowledge of Verra Mobilities product and specific customer programs.
  • Track active contracts, upcoming renewals, and contract expirations, along with assisting and developing recommendations for management in how to support optimal contract performance.
  • Assists in ensuring optimal participation in agreements to maximize price savings, rebates, and commitments, while minimizing risk and protecting the business.
  • Coordinates, administers, implements, and assists in specific assigned contracting activities as related to Supply Chain management.
  • Act as the primary contact to assigned supply & equipment sales representatives, vendors, and distributors regarding system contracts.

 

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years contracting or contract-related experience with at least two years dealing with government-related contracts.
  • Paralegal degree preferred or related experience
  • Must have significant ability to utilize spreadsheets; excel; and other databases.
  • Must possess advanced analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability in communicating requirements to suppliers
