Job Description:

The Vertical Market Development Rep is responsible for marketing and selling our services by actively seeking out and engaging prospective clients. The Vertical Market Development Rep will deliver and book a qualified number of meetings weekly/monthly and prospect high quality leads to a targeted ideal customer. To accomplish this, the Vertical Market Development Rep is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies including lead generation, outbound phone calls to set meetings, messaging, and email campaigns.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Learns and maintains knowledge of products, pricing, company contacts, and sales guidelines.
  • Establishes, develops, and maintains positive business and prospect relationships.
  • Reaches and exceeds assigned sales goals (i.e. activity and quota) within required schedule.
  • Attends in office call days and completes appropriate activities
  • Schedules appointments with key decision makers.
  • Presents information about Company products to potential clients.
  • Completes and updates accurate information related to business profiles.
  • Prospects by identifying specific client needs.
  • Leads prospects through top of funnel activities (lead generating).
  • Attends weekly Sales Team Meetings and meets with supervisor regularly.
  • Professionally services clients/prospective clients and collaborates with other representatives and departments
  • Stays up-to-date on industry changes
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
  • Results-driven and competitive
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
  • Previous sales experience a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

Compensation: $50-$55k + commission
