Vesta Healthcare is a specialized medical group focused today on aging adults with long-term home care needs. We help these individuals live happier, healthier lives by partnering with their aides and caregivers, as a key part of the care team. We use a combination of virtual care, home-based and mobile technologies, data integrations and partnerships with home care agencies to make the home an integrated setting of care with patients, and their Caregivers at the center. 

Vesta is the Roman name for the goddess of home, hearth and family. She is the caregiver. Often unseen yet greatly revered, she puts others' needs ahead of her own, keeping the hearth warm so the home and family can function.

We see Caregivers and recognize the power and potential they embody. More than just assistance, Caregivers are eyes, ears and hands in the home. Caregivers play the role of Doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist, EMT and more, but without support or guidance. That is where Vesta Healthcare comes in. Our program provides Caregivers with a personalized clinical team in their pocket. Our team links Caregivers to the people they care for and the other providers involved in their care. It’s an insurance covered benefit, so it’s available to most adults with Caregivers free of charge to them.

The ideal teammate would be…
A New York City area based General Manager who can drive exceptional outcomes for Vesta’s payers, agency partners, and patients.  Someone that can build and own the complex network of relationships in the New York region while working closely with our internal sales, operations, customer success, and finance teams.  They are capable of building a shared understanding of a problem or opportunity amongst a diverse group of project participants; and can foster and manage healthy conflict to simultaneously drive patient outcomes and financial performance.  

The ideal teammate would be able to:

  • Build and strategically manage a network of high-performing home care agencies in the geographic region that will partner closely with Vesta Healthcare to deliver exceptional outcomes to patients and health plans, including adding, removing, and driving agencies based on a set of standardized performance metrics
  • Manage a series of health plan relationships to transition from fee-for-service to risk-based contracts
  • Serve as the tip of the spear driving financial results on the risk contracts with health plans in your market, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure targets are consistently met and exceeded
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including sales, operations, client success and finance to ensure focus and prioritization of activity across the multiple contracts in your purview
  • Strategically prioritize and manage new investments in your network to grow Vesta’s strategic footprint of agencies, channel partners, health plans, and patients
  • Provide excellent customer service to home care agencies, channel partners, and health plans, resolving issues and creating opportunities
  • Balance strategic and operational focus, elevating to make important strategic prioritizations and investment decisions and getting into the details on tactical issues which will affect Vesta Healthcare’s performance in the market
  • Understand the competitive landscape and professionals in the local industry
  • Spread Vesta Healthcare’s brand across the region creating new opportunities/leads

Would you describe yourself as someone who has:

  • 8-10 years of experience managing and growing provider and/or health plan networks (required)
  • Worked at a health plan or home care agency with MLTSS experience (required)
  • Existing relationships with key stakeholders across home care and/or health plans (required) in New York (preferred)
  • A deep understanding of the dual-eligible landscape, Medicaid, Medicare and home care (required)
  • The ability to travel in/around New York state (mostly NYC) to meet with clients and partners about 50% of the year (required)
  • A passion for metric-based performance management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently, but collaboratively in a remote team environment

Pay range is $200,000-$350,000 inclusive of performance based bonuses based on experience. (The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level).
