Marketing Intern (Fall 2024)

By making smart machines more accessible, Viam is attracting talent and investment to the industry so that more people start building automated products and services that improve our quality of life.Part-time, 2-3 days per week | New York CityViam is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team for the Fall 2024 semester (September - December). This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing while contributing to our company's growth and mission. This is a paid internship.You'll be:• Assisting with project management, including organizing assets, sales collateral, and maintaining project tracking systems• Supporting outreach initiatives for influencer collaborations, content syndication, and social media engagement• Coordinating and tracking multi-asset marketing campaigns, timelines, and ad spend metrics• Proofreading and editing content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency• Conducting market and competitive research to support team initiatives• Assisting with social media scheduling, quality assurance, and metrics reporting• Helping coordinate marketing events as neededWe're looking for someone with:• Current undergraduate student or recent graduate interested in pursuing a career in marketing• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities• Proficiency in Google Workspace; experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Airtable) is a plus• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment• Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learnBenefits:• Free lunch everyday that you are in the office• 3 vacation days to be used throughout the summerValues:• Vision Driven• Collaborate Openly• Act Decisively• Succeed Through Diversity• Hold Ourselves Accountable• Lead with CuriosityLearn more about our values here!
