Technical Platform Operations Specialist

WHAT YOU’LL DO


In the role of Technical Platform Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility is to serve as a crucial link between both internal and external teams, as well as the Product/Engineering teams, to guarantee the smooth functioning of our products including a Demand . Your duties will include orchestrating collaborative efforts among various internal departments, instructing others in the effective optimization of campaigns, and leveraging data to inform decision-making, especially in partnership with Programmatic Campaign Managers. This position is tasked with delivering technical support to all internal teams and playing a key role in the ongoing enhancement of Viant's trading platforms. 


THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to troubleshoot product and/or advertiser/publisher issues inclusive of any QA
  • Facilitate special projects to benefit the Ad Operations team and company
  • Oversee and execute all publisher integrations and 3rd party vendor certification tests
  • Provide 2nd level QA support for platform traders and work closely with Product/Engineering to identify and resolve system issues
  • Conceptualizes and/or Produce solutions for issues experienced by platform traders


GREAT TO HAVE
  • 1+ years of proven experience within an ad operations role or relevant experience
  • Experience with at least one or more ad serving technologies
  • Strong documentation skills for capturing the project and processes
  • Proven ability to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Basic knowledge of JS/HTML a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required

$55,600 - $69,500 a year
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
