As the Vice President, Data and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling the company's data-driven decision-making and strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee all aspects of data management, analytics, and governance within the organization. Key Aspects of the Role:

Data Strategy, Management, and Governance:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with company objectives and long-term vision.
• Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data usage compliance.
• Implement a scalable data lake architecture for efficient data collection, storage, and organization while meeting security and privacy controls.

Data Analysis, Insights, and Business Intelligence:

• Lead a team of data analysts and scientists to deliver meaningful insights through advanced data analytics techniques.
• Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.
• Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards for tracking key performance metrics.

Data-Driven Product Development and AI Integration:

• Collaborate with product development teams to integrate data insights into the software development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for data-driven product features and improvements to meet customer needs.
• Explore and implement machine learning and AI technologies to enhance software products and services.

Data Privacy, Security, and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement best practices for data security.
• Establish role-based access controls to safeguard sensitive data and protect data integrity.
• Maintain a robust data governance framework and conduct audits to assess data compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Data-Driven Culture:

• Collaborate with various departments to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Advocate for a data-driven culture through education and training initiatives.
• Monitor the effectiveness of data and analytics initiatives, identifying areas for improvement.

Data Technology Evaluation and Performance Monitoring:

• Stay updated on emerging data and analytics technologies to enhance the company's data capabilities.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of data and analytics initiatives, optimizing processes and performance.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 15-years' experience in a senior leadership role, leading data and analytics teams in a fast-paced software or technology company.
• Hands on experience working with leading data and analytics technical software, such as but not limited to Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake, and AWS
• Expertise in data strategy development, data analysis, data architecture, business intelligence, and machine learning applications.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and data security best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
• Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
