Vice President, Marketing


In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Partner with the VP of Sales to drive qualified prospective customers to the funnel and engage them with the right messaging; your primary success measure will be number of qualified leads
  • Lead the brand's omni-channel strategy for acquiring new consumers, engaging existing consumers, and driving new product and base sales
  • Promote 'account-based' marketing–working to target specific hospital systems, map out stakeholders, tailor content, and engage them
  • Create targeted, distinct sales and marketing campaigns with well-defined market segments, identified opportunity sizes, compelling messaging delivered through appropriate marketing channels, and sales processes
  • Collaborate with VP of Product, Chief of Strategy, and the VP of Sales to develop marketing strategies that support the unique clinical solutions that drive competitive differentiation in the product portfolio
  • Set the strategic roadmap for how marketing can support each of Carta Healthcare's product lines (Atlas, Navigator, Semaphore and Cartographer) and update on a weekly basis based on evolving priorities
  • Own content strategy and development and design aspects of our website, infographics, battlecards, and other pieces of marketing/sales collateral to maximize lead generation
  • Manage and professionally grow a team of people, including direct reports (Graphic Designer, Marketing Coordinator, SEO manager, an external consulting team and a digital marketing company)
  • Set and track budgets against forecasts for headcount, media, events, agencies, and various third-party vendors/suppliers
  • Report on marketing spend and resulting lead generation to show ROI of marketing efforts and an aggregated reduction in CAC over time
  • Actively lead the creative representation of the brand and the strategic positioning of our products for internal and external consumption to streamline visual brand identity and increase brand equity
  • Enhance our CRM capabilities, including message testing and cadence of contact (primarily B2B)
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of executives and peers to become an indispensable part of the leadership team

Required skills and experience:

  • 8+ years in marketing leadership roles with provider-facing experience
  • Strong leadership skills to drive departments and employees to follow through the marketing plan and goals set forward
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
  • Interpersonal skills to guide employees and work closely with the leadership team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment — time management to organize tasks and finish them on time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to get articulate clear messages across to a variety of people in the business
  • Analytical thinking to arrive at conclusions after analyzing data and information
  • Experience working in marketing analytics
  • Proficiency with google analytics, HubSpot
