As a Sr. Product Manager of Marketing & Operations Data this role would be responsible for the accessibility and utilization of data from various areas of the Vimeo business including but not limited to product usage, mobile app engagement, user activity, progressive profiling, and sales data. This role would be the point person across the company for marketing teams to look to for reliable segmentation, targeting, and reporting data that they require. This role would be expected to understand how Vimeo’s data is shared across channels and work to ensure consistent, fast, and reliable refreshes of said data. In addition, this role would be responsible for unlocking new ways in which to gather and execute on marketing and operational insights.
What you’ll do:
- Drive product strategy around the implementation and utilization of operational data
- Manage vendor relationships with ESPs, CDPs, and Data Warehouse partners
- Partner with marketing channel owners to ensure the connection between channel platform and data warehouse
- Own the strategy around the design and structure of user data feeds and sharing access to those feeds with appropriate partners
- Deeply understand channel owners needs and motivations to develop a comprehensive roadmap that delivers value through our lifecycle communication experience and delivers business results
- Work with upstream Product Managers and Engineers to identify source event data and metadata and negotiate its delivery to the data platform
- Work with Privacy and Data governance to ensure that sensitive data is managed according to policy and all datasets are cataloged and Data quality rules defined
- Troubleshoot errors within the data with channel owners, engineering teams, and product owners
- Creating audience segments and suppressions within CDP platform and routing the datasets into corresponding marketing channels.
- Creating datasets and datamarts within Snowflake and CDP Platforms.
- Training & enabling Vimeo employees to be able to scope audience sizes quickly within our CDP platform.
Skills & knowledge you should possess:
- 5-8 years of experience within marketing operations or data management
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to partner with others and build consensus in a cross-functional team toward a desired outcome
- Deep understanding of SaaS business model, subscription marketing experience preferred
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize work
- Hands on experience working with various ESPs (Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Marketo experience preferred), CDPs (Simon Data), Segmentation tools (Amplitude), and Data Warehouses (Snowflake)
- Ability to seamlessly collaborate across the teams
- Ability to craft client presentations and lead presentations to executive leadership
- Skilled at project management and delivery
- Basic knowledge/comfort with HTML & CSS, Jinja
- Proficient with SQL or other Relational Database Programming Language
- Hands on experience with a Data Transformation Platform like Alteryx
Targeted Base Salary Range: $122,400 to $187,000.
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
