Art Director

We are seeking an Art Director to be the yin to the copywriter's yan to conceptualize across various channels for fully integrated campaigns.  We speak social and emojis, foster a teamwork environment and embody an entrepreneurial workplace. In this role, you will help to develop outstanding, social-first creative ideas for client campaigns and guide the end-to-end creative process from conceptualization through production. You love to bring ideas to life with authenticity, insight, and enthusiasm — developing strategic creative ideas and concepts that are forward-thinking and innovative with feed-interrupting design and art direction. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support a range of integrated creative campaigns for brands across varying industries
• Synthesize relevant research, best practices, trending topics and intuition to produce creative concepts that align with a brand’s KPI’s.
• Connect and collaborate with fellow creatives and strategists to develop innovate and executable marketing solutions with touchpoints in social media and digital mediums, influencer marketing, experiential marketing and more
• Develop creative campaigns that are supported by a strong strategic narrative
• End-to-end creative ideation and development on lead accounts
• Comfortably vary design, style, and other characteristics asked by our brand clients
• Maintain a high-quality of creative output and content development aligned with evolving trends, audience centricity and high propensity/performance
• Communicate big ideas in a way that  sells them to our brand clients
• Support with full-service content productions (when necessary)

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years experience in the social media and digital marketing field (agency experience preferred)
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment & commitment to excellence
• Exceptional art direction and design skills that translate into digital and social advertising campaigns – IG, FB, Tiktok, LinkedIn, etc.
• Excels at direct client interaction with the ability to build relationships and lead presentations.
• Comfortable with designing visuals and writing ideas
• Distinctly creative and obsessed about how ideas can be bigger, and better
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail 
• Passion and understanding of today’s social media landscape and the best practices as it relates to each unique platform
• Experience overseeing junior creatives, video editors, and vendors
• A knack for picking up different brand guidelines, understanding why they work and switching between them quickly
• Experience in big productions, everything from early stages of storyboarding to location selection, casting selection, choosing and working with directors to bring to life a concept, to postproduction.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and innate curiosity
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Slack and Google Suite
• Motion design / editing is a plus
