Job Description

The VAS organization has overall business responsibility for growing value-added services offerings and adoption. As a director with specific focus on network Value added services for CEMEA, this role will include responsibility for the following:

  • Lead and execute Visa’s Network value added services (VAS) strategy with the sales VAS clients, processors and domestic switches
  • Lead mass activations and mandates initiatives to accelerate the implementation of network VAS across client in CEMEA
  • Act as the Subject Matter expert for all Network VAS
  • Build effective partnerships with the CEMEA VAS sales teams and global network product team and other functions to ensure they are aligned to supporting priorities, in-market initiatives etc. and drive accountability for performance
  • Recommend solutions to identified roadblocks across all areas of the business
  • Take overall responsibility of financial targets/goals for network VAS net revenue in the region
  • Provide professional advice and consultancy to relevant stakeholders covering both tactical and strategic objectives
  • Support the establishment of a network VAS budget to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure the regional and country sales teams are effectively communicated to and updated regarding product roadmap, new features, pricing changes, strategies and actions plans are understood by the relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of network VAS sales plan, identify potential targets for sales pipeline and opportunity sizing including relevant metrics to ensure revenue targets are understood and tracked
  • Accountable for coordinating efforts between different teams and clients to ensure timely AANR (Average Annual Net Revenue) conversion to NR (Net revenue) of won deals
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Visa's capabilities overall with specific knowledge and leadership of network VAS objectives
  • Lead and deliver tailored content to articulate the capabilities and Value of Visa’s network VAS offerings to a variety of audiences
  • Build revenue models associated with the delivery of new network VAS implementations.
  • Work closely with the sub regional team to ensure the execution of network VAS strategy to achieve the target revenue

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Qualifications

Skills Professional/Technical/Business:
• Graduate School /Masters Degree Preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of payment processing including products and services, business
systems and processes
• Card issuer/ banking/Retail banking/financial services sector or payment business experience.
• Direct experience in managing a network processing area
• Strong Project management skills
• Excellent time management skills and ability to achieve goals with minimal management oversight
• Very strong technical skills
• Expert understanding and influencing the direction in CEMEA by selling the VisaNet network VAS
story (features, benefits, et al).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence direction and change
attitudes and decisions of senior level international bankers
• Strong self-management skills including demonstrable drive and energy
• Sales/ business development experience and proven negotiation skills
• Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management, including the ability to work
effectively within CEMEA
• Candidate must have the ability to travel frequently
• Fluent in English
