Product Manager - Visa Crypto Product - job 17 of 19

Position Summary

Visa's Crypto Product Team is responsible for identifying new product opportunities that exist within the emerging crypto, stablecoin, and blockchain network landscape, creating strategies that define Visa's participation in the ecosystem, and delivering the capabilities required to capture those opportunities. We are looking for an experienced product manager who is passionate about designing the next generation of stablecoin based solutions to achieve Visa's goals. The Product Manager will focus on building and scaling existing and new stablecoin based solutions. This includes Visa settlement using Stablecoins and Visa’s Tokenized Asset Platform (VTAP) which enables banks to issue Stablecoins on public or private blockchains. You can expect to spend time working with clients to understand their stablecoin vision, translate that vision into new features for our product portfolio, and work with technology teams to manage backlog and requirements to get new features implemented. This role should have expertise in Agile product management, be able to speak fluidly with both technical and business staff and have a passion for crypto that keeps you motivated to find solutions and keep pushing when roadblocks appear.

Essential Functions

  • Support the delivery of tailored stablecoin and blockchain network solutions for a wide variety of Visa’s partners including banks, fintechs, merchants, central banks, and blockchain network ecosystem participants
  • Responsible for managing specific platform features and collaborating with key stakeholders across the strategy, risk, research, and engineering organizations
  • Engage with clients to clearly understand & model customer needs and requirements to incorporate into Visa solutions
  • Author product requirements documents that clearly convey what needs to be built to engineering, as well as criteria on how a requirement will be deemed to be complete and successful. 
  • Stay up to speed on latest developments in crypto industry, including devouring updates to regulations and legal thinking towards stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and CBDCs.  Incorporate learnings and industry direction into adaptable products that can quickly pivot and meet market demand. 
  • Work closely with the extended Crypto business team to scale emerging crypto product lines from initial proof of concept through go-to-market execution that spans pricing, strategy, deal structuring, and client support
  • Build strong internal relationships with business partners—including the product, legal, risk, and engineering teams
     

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
