We are looking for an experienced outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This position is responsible for identifying and connecting new qualified outbound sales opportunities within the specified segment for multiple Account Executives. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. The primary focus of the SDR will be prospecting and researching the target accounts in the assigned segment and performing outreach through emails, calls, and social media to increase sales pipeline and revenue for Visa’s Value-Added Services.
Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify net new sales opportunities for NA VAS Account Executives across multiple segments and sales plays.
Work with your dedicated Account Executives to identify ongoing strategic targets and develop creative outreach strategies.
Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other social mediums.
Comfortable with make upwards of 100 cold calls a day.
Research your target companies and prepare necessary sales materials to equip your Account Executive for the sales call.
Diligently update CRM, to stay current on leads, follow ups, and opportunity creation.
Shadow your dedicated Account Executive in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills to advance your career.
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to prepare and execute specific sales plays and campaigns.
Role:
Prospecting: Identifying net new businesses and key contacts to perform outreach activities and set qualified meetings for Account Executive team.
High Volume Outreach Activity: Ability to research and execute on 80-100 cold calls a day and upwards of 50-60 emails and social media activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams (such as Marketing, Product, and Enablement) to ensure alignment of sales strategies and opportunities.
CRM and Data Hygiene: Must be able to keep data organized and able to track individual activity and account/opportunity within Microsoft Dynamics.
Ability to Adapt to Change: Able to quickly adapt to change and embrace the opportunity to excel in fast paced sales organization.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
• 2 or more years of work experience
• 1-3 years of business development or sales experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of business development experience.
• Experience in working with a CRM for entering leads and opportunities, Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.
• Natural intellectual curiosity, initiative, and love for learning new skills and capabilities.
• Comfort with ambiguity and constant change.
• Entrepreneurial drive and a self-starter, able to be creative and develop new strategies for success.
• Prior success in cold calling, email, and social media outreach to enterprise clients.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 76,600.00 to 99,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
