Job Description

The Senior Manager of AP MS&A BPO will be responsible for developing and implementing effective MS&A strategies to drive revenue growth and expand business acceptance across the AP markets. Additionally, the role will design and execute transformative projects to simplify and streamline sales and business processes, aiming for top-tier sales execution. This position will collaborate closely with the AP MS&A leadership team, the global MS&A BPO team, and cluster MS&A to implement and coordinate business initiatives, deploy targets, and report metrics.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Sales Enablement

  • Collaborate on 2030 MS&A strategy projects, working closely with key business unit leaders to finalize strategy development.
  • Oversee strategy implementation, sales enablement, and ongoing execution to ensure effective use of global sales methodologies.
  • Generate comprehensive insights and reports for senior leadership, global management, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead special business development and investment projects for AP MS&A.

Business Planning and Operations

  • Lead the annual MS&A planning, collaborating with different business units to focus on long-term goals and revenue growth.
  • Partner with the leadership team to establish detailed Account Executive scorecards and drive collaboration across business units.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, serving as a trusted advisor to the generalist sales teams in commercial discussions.
  • Align with the broader VAS Acceptance Sales and Solutions team and collaborate with global functions (Product, VCA, Marketing, etc.) to deliver the go-to-market strategy.
  • Work with the Interchange Pricing and Finance team to simplify and promote best practice processes

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of work experience, including significant experience in financial management and strategic sales operations planning in a high-growth sales environment.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus in Business /Finance or related business field
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships in a complex, matrix organization, including collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product, Technology and Customer Service teams at different levels.
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills - thinks strategically to influence and drive tactical execution, particularly in a growing matrixed organization.
  • Must be results-oriented, organized, able to handle multiple urgent tasks and must effectively deal with ambiguity.
  • Working knowledge in CRM (MSFT Dynamics), MSFT Excel/Power Point and Tableau
  • Solid understanding of the payments industry, its products, services and technologies
