Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

Gettysburg College invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in the Department of Economics (http://www.gettysburg.edu/academics/economics/index.dot) at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, to begin August 2023. Applicants must have teaching and research interests in macroeconomics. The teaching load is 3-3 and includes principles of macroeconomics and intermediate macroeconomics courses.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should be committed to teaching in the liberal arts tradition and producing high quality research. A Ph.D. in Economics by the time of appointment is strongly preferred. We encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate through their teaching, scholarship, or service that they can contribute to the diversity and inclusive excellence of our community.
