About the role:


We are growing our Data team here at Vistar, looking for a technical operations expert to join our Data Operations team! This individual will be responsible for automating and optimizing data management processes, strengthening our global data marketplace and generating data-driven insights to deliver client value at scale.


What you’ll do:
  • Become an expert on the data operations ecosystem at Vistar, with a focus on efficiency and scale
  • Improve existing data pipelines and automate processes for scalability of data partner integrations
  • Generate data-driven insights to enhance decision-making capabilities and deliver value to clients and partners
  • Assist in solution development with Product and Engineering to enable data-driven out-of-home at scale
  • Support global expansion of audience and targeting offerings
  • Serve as a point of escalation for bottlenecked requests from internal (Sales) and external (data partners) stakeholders


What experience we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-4 years of professional work experience within the industry or related (ad agencies, data providers, ad-tech companies, etc)
  • Proficient with SQL and Python for data manipulation (Pandas module, accessing data from APIs, etc.)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Customer Success, etc.)
  • Experience in ad tech and/or technical account management experience in advertising
  • Experience working with and managing both business and technical stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable of the digital advertising industry, preferably in mobile media, location-based media and/or out-of-home media

At Vistar Media, we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause compensation to vary.  Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position. The salary range estimate for this position as performed in New York City is $95,000-$110,000 plus bonus potential, comprehensive health benefits, 401k with company match, and a lifestyle stipend. The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City may vary. The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
