To know more about us click here.Mission of the Role:The Americas Region Sr. Manager - Business Operations supports the VP and General Manager of the region in their role. The primary duties are to make time, information, and decision-making more effective for the VP and GM.Key Objectives of this Role:• Execute, and or project manage a variety of assignments along with other day-to-day items while attending meetings on behalf of the VP and GM; document and communicate important decisions and action items from those meetings.• Have a forward-thinking mindset to help determine strategic direction of the various product lines and business within the region and globally.• Act as a point of contact between the Americas Region top management and other stakeholders.• Execute the region’s critical and strategic missions on behalf of the VP and GM across multifunctional teams.• Assist in research and development of corporate strategy of various product lines.• Plan, coordinate and lead meetings and workshops.• Provide tactical support to implement new ideas.• Determine key performance indicators (KPI’s) and how to measure team performance.• Help coordinate business-wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency, and success.• Support executives schedule management and arrange appropriate meetings as required.• Identify and provide recommendations on improvements across the organization.Key Performance Indicators:• Improve productivity & profitability• Improve operational processes & rigor/discipline• Own overall project management and coordination for various regional programs & initiatives (time, quality, cost)• Drive development, setting up and implementation of regional strategy• Represent VP & GM in meeting with different functionsKey Year One Deliverables:• Successful execution of critical and strategic initiatives across multifunctional teams.Qualification, Experience and Skills:• Bachelor's degree in EE or related field with equivalent experience is required• MBA is preferred• 5 years of experience in project/program management required• Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for productive collaboration across varying departments• Detail-oriented and data-driven• High levels of business acumen and insight• Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives• Ability to work within a constrained deadline with solid time management and multi-tasking skills• Consulting and corporate development experience is preferred• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Self-motivated and self-sufficientKey Leadership Behaviors:• Lead from the front• Build Strong Teams• Inspire Change• Lead the market• Forward thinking mindset• Accountability and OwnershipReporting Structure:• Position will report to Vice President and General Manager of the AmericasVisteon Culture:If you thrive in a fast-paced, organizational culture that requires agility, adaptability, and a growth mindset from its employees to thrive and stay ahead of the curve Visteon is the place.
