Visual Designer

As a Visual Designer on our growing Communications and Creative team, you will be responsible for creating print and digital content for HRT's internal and external communications. This is a new role, where you will need to work both independently and in collaboration with the team and project stakeholders. To succeed in helping us set the tone for our growing brand, you must be remarkably creative with a drive to understand and maintain HRT's unique identity.

Responsibilities

• Execute design assets with a focus on motion graphics and kinetic typography for social posts, internal videos, web assets, etc.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute content for different audiences and applications
• Assist in the development of creative assets and internal communications initiatives in accordance with HRT's brand guidelines
• Complete deliverables in accordance with industry standards depending on use cases
• Develop kinetic type, animated content treatments

Profile

• Skilled designer with experience in branding or large-run print media
• Has experience working with a small creative team or can work independently (freelancer, etc.)
• Has built their own portfolio (independent of reels created with previous employer)
• Has worked with or for a public-facing client and received public feedback
• Familiar with internal creative workflows, including workshopping and internal approvals from managers/partners/stakeholders

Skills

• 3+ years of graphic design experience
• Full Adobe Suite expert (PS, AI, AE, PR all required)
• Collaborative worker
• Creative and flexible, with the ability to take design critique and feedback in stride
• Demonstrates mastery of design principles
• Motion graphics experience is a strong plus
