Job Description

About the role

  • Inspect materials received, record all inventory, including movements, receiving and deletions within SAP system. 
  • Report any stock issues to purchasing and request product orders as necessary. 
  • Work closely with the Receiving Lead on Inspecting goods, maintaining accurate receiving, transfers, and daily product movements using SAP.   
  • Receive inventory against existing PO’s 
  • Unpack, Inspect, restock, and move goods as necessary 
  • Process and document returns or damaged goods 
  • Ensure returns process completed to refund stage
  • Manage vendor relations to ensure optimal service 
  • Maintain product data in ERP System 
  • Own distribution process for secure items 
  • Restock and reorder common items 
  • Other duties as necessary or assigned in assisting the Purchasing and Receiving functions 

 

Pay Scale: $21-$25/hour DOE

Qualifications

About you

  • Eye for detail and quality to ensure thorough inspections of received product
  • Experience with data entry into an ERP/Materials Management system
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness and adaptability to solve problems quickly. 
  • Shows the ability to pivot and work well under pressure, such as when inventory deliveries or shipments become late or forgotten. 
  • Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills; displays reading comprehension skills. 
  • Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments.
  • Displays the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time without stress.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment in warm or cold temperatures 
  • Able to spend 50%+ of your day working on your feet, standing or walking
  • Able to lift/push/pull 10-20 lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
