As the Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Relations you will be the global communications leader at DocuSign, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company's communication efforts and contributing to the company’s long-term strategy. You will work closely with our Executive Leadership Team to ensure that our communication goals align with our business objectives and long-term vision. You will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations activities relative to the strategic positioning of the company and its leadership team. You will also serve as an ambassador for DocuSign, and build relationships with the media.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the President and General Manager of Growth.

Maintain end-to-end responsibility for shaping programs and strategies across sustainability, ESG, crisis management, and investor relations

Serve as the guardian of DocuSign's global reputation, supported by a data-driven communications strategy to shape perception

Be proactive identifying and addressing challenges and emerging issues facing DocuSign by working with cross-functional teams to identify communications opportunities and trends

Lead the charge on executive communications by devising and executing a strategy that engages customers, partners, and employees and generates buzz around DocuSign

Foster a strong sense of connection to our mission through internal communications programs that inspire and engage employees

Build meaningful and strategic relationships with industry analysts to reinforce our leadership position

Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions that help promote and/or impact the organization

Prioritize media opportunities, and prepare talking points, speeches, presentations and other supporting material as needed

Engage, cultivate, and manage press relationships to ensure coverage surrounding DocuSign programs, special events, public announcements, and other projects

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the communications function including budgeting, planning and staff development

Attract, develop, and retain a motivated communications team that consistently delivers outstanding performance with a commitment to quality and results

Foster a culture of high performance by investing in training and development to advance the craft of communications
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

15+ years of experience with publicly traded companies

Experience building relationships with top-tier technology and business media

Masterful communication skills, with the ability to guide DocuSign's executive leadership team with your interpersonal, written, oral, and presentation competencies

The ability to effectively interface with senior management, DocuSign’s Board of Directors and staff

Demonstrate a great balance between technical expertise and business acumen

Entrepreneurial energy, demonstrated by a passion to take on new challenges, ability to adapt to a changing competitive environment, and comfort with agile ways of working

Based on legislation in Washington the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in Washington only: Washington pay range: $216,000 - $336,000 base salary
Based on legislation in California the following details are for individuals who reside and would be working in California only: California pay range: $237,900 - $366,575 base salary
