The VP of engineering will help manage our 25+ person engineering and integrations team, scale our product, and build out new features. They will facilitate communication between the engineering and product teams, and provide necessary management and organization to allow teams to execute on all tech-related projects.

VP of Engineering
The VP of engineering will help manage our 25+ person engineering and integrations team, scale our product, and build out new features. They will facilitate communication between the engineering and product teams, and provide necessary management and organization to allow teams to execute on all tech-related projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage application architecture, and provide strategic decisions to scale product as demand increases.
- Represent and communicate team capabilities and engineering priorities across the organization.
- Mentor, grow, and empower the engineering team through task assignments, 1-1s, weekly meetings and support discussions.
- Contribute to the codebase, architect and design new systems, and participate in code review.
- Oversee all technical and implementation aspects of our integration platform, working cross-functionally with customer success teams to deliver stable integrations across different systems
- Interview and hire new staff
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Someone who has previous work experience as a VP of engineering / director of engineering / CTO at an enterprise SaaS company
- Someone who has experience running an org of at least 20 people, across multiple domains of frontend, backend, infrastructure and integration
- Specific to integration experience, someone who has led development of bi-directional database integrations with ERP systems.
- Experience in data modeling, systems design, and application architecture for a fully deployed product
- Someone who wants to rigorously test and implement new engineering processes and while continuously executing on existing processes
- Someone with experience hiring and building out a scalable hiring process for developers and engineering managers
- Someone with experience building out new products and maintaining existing and complex enterprise SaaS products
- Someone with experience in ensuring live applications meet high uptime and performance requirements set by customer SLAs
