Senior Software Engineer, Network Products
Vultr is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Network Products to drive the long-term networking product strategy for their cloud-based offerings. Ideal candidate should have experience in PHP or Python, strong Linux networking experience, and virtualized networking knowledge.
Skills
- Experience with PHP or Python
- Strong Linux Networking experience and Virtualized Networking
- Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 networking concepts
- Basic understanding of Linux routing-stack tools
- Strong belief in documentation as a core aspect of engineering
- Test-driven development experience
- Experience with Windows networking is a plus
- Experience with data collection or automation tooling for the network layer is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain consumer network products
- Collaborate with Provisioning subteam and Site Reliability Engineers to improve network product infrastructure
- Contribute to the fast, performant, and stable virtualization experience for customers
