We have a headquartered in Nashville, TN and currently has a branch office in Bowling Green, KY.Job Overview:We are seeking a mid-level geotechnical engineer to support our geotechnical group in Nashville. The primary role for the candidate will be to perform various activities in support of geotechnical investigations. Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:• Execute geotechnical investigations of basic and moderate size and complexity (buildings, dams, bridges, retaining walls, roadways, runways, etc.)• Coordination and management of geotechnical field explorations• Assign geotechnical laboratory tests and review results• Independently perform geotechnical analyses including shallow foundation bearing capacity and settlement, deep foundation capacities (drilled shafts, auger cast piles, driven piles, etc.), slope stability, and seepage analyses• Prepare geotechnical reports and proposals under limited guidance and supervision of senior engineer• Project management of geotechnical projectsEducation Required:• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university is required.Qualifications:• 4 to 8 years experience preferred• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Tennessee or ability to obtain within 3 months• Strong writing and communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel), GeoStudio, and LPILE software• Routine lifting of up to 50 poundsBenefits:• Competitive salary based on experience• Profit Sharing• 401(k)• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and more
