Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The Project Manager - Heavy CivilSummary:• Job management includes job status, safety training and procedures, high-risk tasks, projections and schedule review, subs oversight, CO audits, conducting regular client meetings, and daily game plans.• Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to meet profitability goals.• Collaborates across the company to ensure consistency in construction and safety practices on all projects. Adheres to policies, procedures, and standards.• Plans, schedules, coordinates, and implements construction projects in adherence to timelines and budget.• Process RFI's and submittals• Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.• Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems, and tools.• Aims to achieve a zero-injury culture by implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety training, identifying hazards, and promoting a healthy work environment.• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.• Knowledgeable in reading plans, shop drawings, and specifications.• Ability to communicate effectively with workers, subs, vendors, stakeholders, and trades.• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel, and Foundations.• Knowledge of union agreements and prevailing wage.• Assists in achieving a zero-injury culture through the support of our active Safety Program.• Accurately prepares estimates and bids.• Strong communication skills.• Proven success managing and developing people.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering (or related field) and equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction.Industry Expertise:• 5-10 year's experience in the construction industry, comparable technical training, or related experience.• Minimum three to five year's experience in supervising others.Specific Job Requirements:• Extensive knowledge of construction contracts.• Current on all company-required safety training.• Competence to maintain confidential information and avoid conflicts of interest.• Knowledge of drafting and ability to read and interpret blueprints.• Knowledge of project management software (Foundations) and/or estimating software (Bluebeam).• Working knowledge of construction equipment, materials, techniques, and required standards applicable to the discipline.• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background investigation.• Valid Driver's License.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: Salary Employee, 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, and Paid time off
