In-office with partial remote option.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA .Responsibilities:• You will play a significant role in serving our clients by being the first point of contact for most assigned client accounts. Serving them by understanding and bringing solutions to their business.• You will take personal ownership and responsibility for multiple client engagements and competing priorities planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing them while meeting deadlines and budgets.• Complex client issues - no problem. You will identify issues and provide creative solutions for them.• You will help create a positive employee experience by effectively delegating, training, and developing others. Caring about them. Providing feedback related to our business and the general business environment, their technical knowledge, skills and ability, engagement metrics, firm efficiencies, and soft skills.• You will strengthen your center of influence for the purposes of networking, business development and recruiting.Qualifications for Tax Manager:• 5 or more years of qualifying public accounting experience• CPA Certification and/or other relevant license in area of concentration• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent analytical, technical skills and proficiency in area of concentration and possesses a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and pronouncements• Experience managing multiple complex projects and priorities adhering to quality, deadlines and budgets• Demonstrate an advisory mindset• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing staff• Some experience identifying and/or attracting clients to the Firm• Experience identifying opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills• Proficient in building effective team(s), working effectively within the team(s), as well as independently• Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteBenefits• Competitive wages and eligibility for discretionary bonus pool• Flexible work hours with partial remote option• Paid holidays, time off, Office closed Fridays in June and July 2024• 100% paid employee medical• Dental, vision, and life insurance plans; short-term disability plan• 401(k) retirement plan• Continuing professional education and license fees paid for professional certifications
