Full job descriptionA registered Futures Commission Merchant ("FCM") located in the Chicago Board of Trade in Chicago, IL, has an immediate need for a Chief Compliance Officer - HybridEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for monitoring the firm's activities as an FCM to ensure that the firm adheres to all applicable Commodity Futures Trading Commission ("CFTC"), National Futures Association ("NFA") and CME Group rules and regulations, as well as internal rules, policies and procedures.Administer, maintain and implement compliance and other regulatory and internal control procedures.Act as the firm's Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") Compliance Officer and maintain all ongoing training and procedural updates to the firm's AML policy and procedures. Along with conduct monthly AML analysis.Coordinating and conducting the on-site audit program, including the independent Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") audits for customers of the firm.Prepare the annual report of the Chief Compliance Officer for the firm's fiscal year end, as required by CFTC regulations.Manage internal and external audits and respond to any regulatory inquiries.Participate in the negotiation and drafting of firm contracts.Oversee, train, and supervise the firm's new accounts and compliance staff.Communicate with senior management on all compliance issues, including relevant developments and new rules and regulations that will affect the firm.Conduct trading reviews on monthly basis of specific subsets of accounts.Review of marketing materials, sales practices, and overall monitoring of related regulatory and supervisory responsibilities.Administer the firm's GIB audit program; and conduct annual GIB inspections.Manage and create give-up agreements; update when necessary.Conduct compliance training sessions on all new rules and regulations for relevant personnel.Administer the firm's Risk Management Program and quarterly risk exposure reports.Analysis of Large Trader Reporting position limits.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:5-10 years relevant industry experience in compliance at an SRO, exchange or regulatory firm.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or other technical/business discipline.3-5 years of supervisory/management experience.Working knowledge of regulated instruments including commodity options and futures.Detailed knowledge of NFA, CFTC, and CME rules and regulations.Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and to prioritize amongst competing daily responsibilities.Ability to work within a team and to contribute in a collaborative environment.Reliable, dedicated and high level of integrity.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Supervising experience: 3 years (Required)Management: 3 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Chicago, IL 60604 (Required)
