Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership, you will help drive the execution of our strategic objectives for the company, optimize business operations, provide valuable insights, analytics and research that contributes to the growth and success of Waabi. This is an internal and external-facing role with a clear purpose to focus on developing and executing initiatives that drive long-term growth and competitive advantage for Waabi.
You will work on projects of strategic importance such as our growth strategy, GTM initiatives, operational excellence, and planning the key initiatives, including investor relations, investments, and other strategic projects.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from the leadership team, as well as senior leaders from finance, commercial, product to shape company strategy and drive execution. - Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities and potential risks.
- Perform financial analysis, including forecasting, scenario modelling, and unit economics assessments, to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives.
- Investor Relations: Build relationships with new and existing investors, lead capital raising activity, develop materials and financial projections to communicate our business performance and plan to external stakeholders.
- Strategic Projects: Work cross functionally with the executive team to help shape Waabi’s corporate strategy, lead special projects, new business evaluation, develop customer relationships, and create business impact.
- Board/Executives: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate strategic recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine strategic priorities and objectives and communicate the strategy.
- Generate business and market insights, design strategies and develop business cases to unlock opportunities.
- Support and execution of company wide business cycle planning processes.
- Optimize key business operations, ensuring effective execution and follow-through on actions. Execute the end-to-end OKR planning and reporting process.
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders, helping devise corporate and functional strategies and translating company objectives into initiatives and tactical plays.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years working in management consulting, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or related fields with at least 3 years in technology/startup experience.
- Strong expertise in strategic and financial analysis, project management, negotiations, and communication.
- Strategic thinking, and high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work with a great deal of independence, thriving in an unstructured work environment, leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive results with senior leadership.
- Ability to dive into difficult, complex and ambiguous problems and come up with solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing timelines and deliverables.
- Curious, fast learner and data-driven.
- MBA preferred.
The US yearly salary range for this role is: $132,000 - $255,500 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. Waabi's yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary base range is reflective of the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Note: The Company provides additional compensation for employees in this role, including equity incentive awards and an annual performance bonus.
