Court Security Officer, Pierre, SD

Walden Security is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed security to courthouses under a USMS contract. Ideal candidates will have a background in law enforcement.

Skills

Law enforcement experience
Ability to enforce laws effectively
Strong communication skills
Ability to operate security equipment
Attention to detail

Responsibilities

Perform entrance control and operate security screening equipment
Conduct patrols of court facilities and grounds
Stand guard at stationary posts and monitor security equipment
Provide armed escort services for judges and other personnel
Control traffic and enforce law and order at court facilities
Prepare reports regarding contract performance issues
Ensure the security of courtrooms and proceedings

Education

High school diploma or GED
Certificate from law enforcement training academy
