Position Summary...What you'll do...About the RoleAt Spark Trust & Safety, our mission is to build the safest and fairest platform for customers and drivers to operate on. We are seeking a manager that will lead the development of safety policies and processes that support the Spark Driver platform. This role will be responsible for creating standards that impact user access to the delivery platform. If you are motivated by complex and ever-evolving challenges and possess a strong code of ethics, then the Spark Trust & Safety team may be the perfect fit for you!What you'll do• Work with the Spark Trust & Safety sub- team s to develop and maintain internal policies, Terms of Use, and safety incident classification .• Serve as SME and provide guidance on how to address critical safety escalations, ensuring driver accounts are suspended and deactivated appropriately.• Establish the criteria for addressing new safety issues and driver activities across the entire platform.• Support QA improvement by ensuring written guidance is clear and unambiguous for agents .• Own and monitor key metrics to measure policy & process effectiveness and identify areas of opportunity .• Partner with the Product team to ideate on tech solutions and lead product launches.• Develop strategy and frameworks to support safety programs and internal ways of working.• Represent Spark Trust & Safety in cross-functional initiatives and provide perspective on safety and operational impacts.• Stay apprised of local laws and regulations . Work with Legal and Compliance to dissect how they can impact our programs.You'll make an impact by:• Developing policies to make the Spark Driver platform a safer place for customers, associates, and drivers by removing potential bad actors from the platform.• Being a champion of fairness, consistency, and quality.• Promoting team culture by engaging in activities that support company values, culture, diversity, learning and development .You'll sweep us off your feet if:• You have experience in safety policy, safety incident management, or content moderation in Digital Platform, E-Commerce, On-Demand, or Last Mile industries.• You have experience in Operations, Project Management, Criminal Justice, or Continuous Process Improvement.• You have s trong problem-solving skills and the ability to make fair and unbiased decisions in complex situations.• You have e xcellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams.• You are tech savvy , comfortable with systems, and can engage in discussions with Product and Engineering.• You can influence and drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.• You can work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in business administration , Economics, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years of experience in an Operations, Project Management, or related position .Preferred Qualifications• 3+ years of experience in Safety, Safety operations, or content moderation for an online or delivery platform .• Experience in working with Product on features and automation.• Experience in leading teams and managing individual contributors.• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau , Power BI , or SQL.Perks and Benefits• Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance.
