Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Director of Operations to join our fast-growing, remote team!

Keep reading!What You’ll Do• Ensure daily operations are running smoothly both directly and indirectly.• Oversee and maintain core processes and systems such as the team calendar, team meetings, and project management systems (Karbon).• Identify and build new processes as identified and prioritized by the team.• Work with department heads to ensure their processes are aligned with the overall mission and vision of the organization.• Identify and address potential risks and bottlenecks to the company's daily operations, and develop solutions to mitigate them.• Oversee client billing and invoicing.• Set an example by resolving client issues to the client’s satisfaction, and coaching the team to do the same.• Monitor client feedback and experiences to ensure clients are happy.• Elevate the client experience by meticulously overseeing and refining the onboarding process to ensure it attains the highest standards of excellence.• Provide monthly P&L reports to department heads for visibility and decision-making regarding necessary resources, profitability and overall budget.• Track Cash Flow on a weekly basis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of financial liquidity, identify potential trends, and proactively address any fluctuations or challenges that may arise in the company's financial health.What You Need to Get the Job Done• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.• Demonstrated success in leadership roles, showcasing a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, emphasizing a proven ability to handle high levels of responsibility and ownership.• Comprehensive understanding of financials, showcasing the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial information for informed decision-making.• Interested in a high level of responsibility & ownership at an early-stage startup• Understanding of SAAS platforms, processes, and automations available• Able to gain an understanding of the vision for the company and operational preferences.• A belief that there is always room for us to improve as individuals, a team, and a company• Able to ask “Why?” and “How?” questions to get to the root of issues and remove artificial limitations• Handling multiple responsibilities and job tasks (multi-tasking) as needed• Strong interpersonal and team management skillsWhat You'll Love About UsOur mission is to be the trusted guide to financial clarity & growth for e-commerce businesses.If you’re passionate about helping people navigate the complexities of the tax and accounting world and eager to make a difference in a fast-growing company, we have the perfect opportunity for you!We're big believers in the advantages of remote work and have taken a digital-first approach.
