Position Summary...What you'll do...Manager, Project Management, Event OperationsLocation: Bentonville, ARAre you an experienced events professional that wants to help others find great careers in a placethey can be themselves? The Walmart Recruiting Events Manager will create events that excitepeople from all experience levels and backgrounds to learn more about working at our company.You will engage thousands of job candidates every year. Reporting to the Senior Manager II ofRecruitment Marketing and Events, you'll work with several partners to research, plan, execute,measure, and report on virtual and on-site events.You'll make an impact by:• Championing diversity and inclusion , understanding, respecting, and valuing diversity andpromoting inclusion of all people in our recruiting efforts, including unique styles,experiences, identities, ideas, and opinions.• Developing essential relationships with partners, organizers, and vendors. Assess yourpartners' priorities and evaluate event options to help us meet their goals; provide advice onimplementing best practices.• Creating an imaginative event calendar , set specific goals, and develop an event mix togenerate diverse, qualified leads across all levels and responsibilities needed.• Planning team member meetings and communications , including working with multipleteams, establishing event-specific indicators, communicating project scopes, options andtimelines, participating in the selection and training of attendees and speakers, and deliveringprogress and post-event reports.• Curating Walmart's employer brand image. Lead booth design at virtual and live events withour vendors; customize meaningful, demographic-specific content, SWAG, and experiencesto promote engagement.• Leading development of creative marketing and social media advertising with ourRecruitment Marketing and vendor team, observing brand guidelines and driving engagementand action.• Completing engaging virtual and on-site events, creating and delivering thoughtfulmessaging and experiences that address candidate's needs at each stage of their engagement.Organize travel logistics , negotiate vendor contracts and hold them accountable fordeliverables, ensure event set-up, develop staffing plans and training, troubleshoot scenariosthat could affect the integrity of the events, and accomplish adhoc tasks to complete events.• Creating and ensuring adherence to event budgets , managing budget documentation,invoices, and reimbursements.• Collecting and using data to improve our events and event mix , using appropriate datacollection techniques (surveys, focus groups, ATS tracking) to recognize improvementopportunities.You'll sweep us off our feet if...• You have a heart for building diverse, inclusive teams• You're passionate about creating seamless candidate experiences through events• You're a creative person with an eye for opportunities and new ideas• You're thoughtful, disciplined, and can manage different work streams• You know the specifics of quality design• You're a master at making complex subjects easily understood• You can hold project contributors accountable• You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune #1 scaleBenefits & perks :Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance.
