Position Summary...What you'll do...Senior Manager - Seasonal FocusPortfolio RequiredAt Walmart, we help people save money so they can live better. This mission serves as the foundation for every decision we make to create the future of retail, from responsible sourcing to sustainability - and everything in between.As a Senior Manager, of Collective and Seasonal, you will be responsible for creating designs exclusively for Private Brands and develop print trend strategies that support the Walmart GM and private brand goals. You will assure that Walmart's private brand DNA/guidelines, trends, aesthetic/style, quality and value all support the customer's needs and lead the market. You will support the brand's seasonal fashion direction and align with broader Walmart strategies. You'll help ensure leadership is aligned with the creative direction and assortment.You'll sweep us off our feet if:• You understand and know how to build a winning brand aesthetic and DNA/guardrails• You have strong POV with focused creative vision that supports branding for private label brands• You are data savvy: you can analyze competition, customer behavior, industry trends, and the macro environment.• You are tenacious, dedicated and thrive working with ownership, autonomy, and a healthy dose of competition.• Can flow between quirky, whimsy, traditional and contemporary aesthetics• Able to maintain a 10000 ft view while working on the details• Strong ability to understand layering of print, pattern and color to create dynamic product mixesResponsibilities include:• Drive cohesive trend relevant collections for holiday, harvest, valentines day, easter, pride and other holidays• Working and evolving multiple collections across multiple seasons simultaneously• Establish relationships with merchant and pd partners• Working with PD team to develop product, identify white space and create collections that mix classic must haves with new and notable designs found only at Walmart.• Aligning merchants needs with trend vision• Work with designers to create artwork that align with design direction, work across brands and across product categories and track implementation of pattern work and color• Manages the design vision, execution, and identity of the brand, ensuring that merchant strategy and brand guidelines are followed to ensure a consistent design aesthetic on the floor and online• Assists in the brand's aesthetic, design, silhouettes, and fabrics/materials• Work with designers to create artwork that align with design direction, work across brands and across product categories and track implementation of pattern work and color• Turn around requests in a timely manner• Project tracking• Spear heading regular check ins with merch and design partners to confirm alignment• Review assortments at CAD level and help stream line assortmentsQualifications:• Degree in Product Design, Interior Design, other adjacent field that utilized print and pattern across a range of product with a seasonal focus, experience with décor a plus with 4+ years of experience• Adobe CC Suite, Microsoft Suite• Excellent color and print sensibility, with an eye for fashion and detail• Strong understanding of trends in the market• Solid communication and interpersonal skills• Proactive team player• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment• Understanding of all aspects of copyright-related to graphics, pattern manipulations and typefaceBenefits & Perks:Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance.
