Walmart Design is innovating the future of retail and each member of our team plays a pivotal role in shaping the way people engage with our products and services.As a Senior Manager of Content Design , supporting Enterprise Services, you will lead the content domain across key areas o f our Marketplace and associate tools , focusing on experiences for Walmart partners , suppliers and our associates .You will guide your team in creating the highest quality content, helping drive the development of foundational tools, frameworks and resources that allow the team to scale efficiently and deliver excellent, consistent and compelling work. Collaborating with design, product, en gineering and business partners, you'll positively shape products and foster an inclusive experience for partners, suppliers and associates with your artful use of the Walmart voice, content best practices and end-to-end UX strategies. Help us identify , define and implement solutions that go beyond words and integrate seamlessly into the lives of our partn ers and associates .You'll sweep us off our feet if you have...• A demonstrated track record working cross-functionally, shipping successful product copy in a fast-paced environment• Experience facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders through the use of sound rationale - finding opportunities to bring out the best in people and flex to the needs of the program by refining the messaging• A deep appreciation for systems thinking and a keen understanding of information architecture, both from a design and content lens• A positive mindset with a penchant for puzzles - y ou're nimble and understand innately what 'less is more' means to the user• The ability to produce great work in short timeframes , multi-task across different projects and platforms and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business• The energy and empathy to motivate and support teams and partners• A knack for leading by doing, inspiring, coaching and contributing to the design org's culture .You'll make an impact by:• Crafting the strategic vision for your discipline, then delivering a solution with cogent, on-brand product copy• Solving complex problems with curiosity and openness• Leading by doing, inspiring, coaching and contributing to the design org's culture• Collaborating seamlessly and flexibly with cross-functional partners to drive best-in-class thinking from all parts of the organization• Proactively soliciting , leveraging, and sharing design research, competitive analysis, relevant metrics/KPIs to deliver strategic, engaging, impactful communications• Thinking holistically through the entire ecosystem of end users and competitorsPreferred qualifications:• Degree in Communications , Journalism , Digital Design, or similar• 8+ years of experience in UX content strategy/design (not product marketing)• 3+ years as a people manager• A portfolio with UX case studies showcasing your craft, impact and collaborative process• Experience participating in peer reviews and working within a crit cultureThe above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
