Position Type: VolunteerLocation: RemoteJob Description: The DMV Music Alliance is looking for someone to work closely with the marketing team, to bring creative concepts to life and contribute to the overall visual identity of the organization. Your primary objective will be to develop innovative and effective marketing materials, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines. Must have proven experience with creating printed marketing collateral using InDesign and Illustrator set up with the CMYK color profile.Responsibilities:Create marketing collateral for various platforms and mediums, including digital and print materials.Design print materials using CMYK and that are aligned with organization’s branding, including colors and fontsEnsure that digital designs are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices for web and mobile interfaces.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts, messaging, and visual strategies.Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine designs and ensure the final deliverables meet the desired quality and visual standards.Organize design files, maintain version control, and ensure that all design assets are easily accessible and properly archived.Requirements:Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and creative conceptsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignStrong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principlesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design conceptsAdaptability to changing priorities, project requirements, and feedbackAbility to work independently and in a team environment, taking ownership of design projects from concept to completionExcellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines.To inquire, please fill out the short form at https://dmvmusicalliance.org/join-us/
