Under minimal supervision, the Adjustment Driver supports the company's strategic intent to provide "the most inviting, easy and safe tire and wheel purchase and service experience in the world" by ensuring that stores meet high quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach Adjustment Types and Processes

Build relationships with stores to create adjustment focus.

Work with Marketing and Workflow Managers to train store teams.

Work with Marketing and Workflow Managers to create a sustainable process.
-
Coach stores on proper tire inspections (including bays and air check bay)

Work with store to increase adjustment credits and capture rate.

Teach and coach the adjustment wizard.
-
Report to store Managers and AVP’s.
-
Maintain schedule and visit stores as necessary.

Communicate with stores on schedule and expectations.
-
Communicate with warehouse, daily.
-
Stay on task and manage time without supervision.

Maintain safe driving habits while obeying all traffic laws.

Be responsible for a company credit card and inputting receipts into Concur.

Return to warehouse as needed.

Keep van clean and organized.

Provide accurate information to stores on adjustment types.

Be a student of your profession and constantly strive to be the best.

Proficiency with the Fiori scanner.

Train stores as different adjustment types are realized.

Learn the adjustment process through the warehouse.

Consult warehouse on any questionable adjustments.

Review capture rate with stores monthly.

Have a stable base of integrity.

Qualifications:

Discount Tire store experience is beneficial.

Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to prepare communications and reports are necessary.

This position requires excellent communication, interpersonal and store personnel service skills, including attentive and active listening to identify and address store personnel needs.

As this position interacts with various levels of store personnel the ability to model the following behaviors is required: courteous (respectful), positivity (smiles), humility, accountability, team-player, self-reflection and open to accepting feedback is required.

The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.

Educational Requirements:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
Valid Drivers License required. Ability to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) standards for operating work vehicles is required.
