Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative assists with Driver dispatch, including delivery schedules. In addition, they are responsible for taking customers orders as well as assisting with any customer service issues. The Inside Sales Representative acts as a liaison between the Sales, Dispatch, Credit, and Billing departments.

Compensation

$40,000 - $55,000 annually DOE

Responsibilities

• Quote and take orders from customers
• Coordinate deliveries
• Manage heavy phone traffic
• Communicate with customers onsite plans and blueprints for manholes and storm drains; per plans and specifications, generates stacking list, sales order, and data entry for delivery and or pick up
• Must be able to review and understand green sheet and send quotes
• Works parallel with accounts receivable and credit department to coordinate and maintain the accuracy of sales orders
• Assist Inside Sales Supervisor in creating delivery schedules, driver dispatch, and driver supervision
• Responsible to track inventory levels and report any deficits and or gains to Operations Manager
• Some warehouse duties including forklift operation are required

Education

High school diploma/GED

Requirements/Qualifications

• 5 years of precast manufacturing, sales, or field experience
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred:

• Experience working with SAP
• Sales background
• Engineering background

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
