Position Summary
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse functions are completed accurately and on time. Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment in a manner that meets Company standards for safety, security, and productivity
The ideal candidate will ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the assets under their control. Plans the staging and efficient organization of materials within the warehouse. Helps manage a team of employees. Responsible for compliance with established internal control procedures to maintain inventory accuracy.
Position Responsibilities
- Planning outbound loads based on inventory.
- Ensuring First In- First out (FIFO).
- Providing continuous training, monitor and check that all labeling and scanning is correct.
- Understanding Scanner operation and be able to train employees.
- Understanding necessary SAP functions to investigate and identify product shipping issues and concerns.
- Running LX03 reports for loads.
- Monitoring and ensuring that warehouse housekeeping is regularly maintained.
- Inventory of all necessary warehouse and shipping supplies.
- Maintaining communication board for all outbound dedicated carrier and live loads.
- Communicating shipping schedule with trucking companies.
- Monitoring LOTO procedures are followed when unloading and loading trailers
- Monitoring of forklift inspection book and ensure that all necessary repairs are made in a timely manner.
- Reporting and documenting all visible damage to forklifts.
- Monitoring/Reporting and communicating the condition of inbound loads to ensure safety of all employees while unloading.
- Verifying that all inbound loads arrive with load bars that are in good working order.
- Monitoring tools and ensure that all 5S procedures are followed.
- Maintaining a well-organized warehouse and verify that all Re-dry and Re-work pallets are in their proper locations, easily identified through correct label placement, securely stretch wrapped and safely stacked in their isles.
- Ensuring that all warehouse associates are performing their job functions correctly.
- Following instructions and complete all the assigned tasks as delegated by the supervisor.
- Following all safety regulations and legal documentation pertaining to warehousing.
- Keeping and maintaining accurate records of all the inventory and stock in the warehouse.
- Reviewing LTO paperwork before the outbound delivery leaves the facility.
- Inspecting all staged loads prior to scanning to prevent potential shipping errors.
- Monitoring the safe handling of product in the warehouse by the Lift Truck Operators.
- Ensuring the drums lids of finished product are properly cleaned.
- Ensuring the LTO's and spouts are correctly stretch wrapping completed pallets.
- Ensuring Pallets (rework and re-dry) are wrapped in correct stretch wrap color (green).
- Ensuring hold product is wrapped in correct stretch wrap color (black).
- Ensure that all 033's (roots and skins) & 037's (crude flake) are properly labeled, correctly palletized by inner/outer barcodes and warehoused in a timely manner (this includes all drums sent to Dyno's for re-dry).
- Monitoring that plastic recycling is being placed in recycling bins and not garbage.
- Inspect drums in damage drum area to ensure that they are indeed damaged and ensure that the drum area is regularly maintained, neat and orderly.
- Regularly monitor LTO's to ensure that they are stacking pallets in a safe manner.
- Maintain clear and detailed information in warehouse logbook to record the activities of the day.
- Regularly communicate all issues verbally or by email.
- Any issues that arise during the daily operation that will impact the loads scheduled for any given day must be reported to a supervisor immediately.

Position Requirements
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. consistently throughout a shift.
- Capable of safely maneuvering drum that weigh up to 275 lbs.
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, department Leads and carriers.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Ability to work in fast paced and noisy production environment.
- Ability to take direction and work in a team driven atmosphere.
- Ability to wear all appropriate PPE.
- Successful Completion of Powered Industrial Truck Certification Training.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics and measurement principles.
- Knowledge of bar code scanners for drum and palletized material identification preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Previous forklift and industrial truck driving experience preferred.
- Previous leadership experience preferred.
- SAP/PC knowledge helpful.
- MUST be available to work extended days and hours during the production season (approximately May through October).
- Strong team player - good communication (written and verbal), follow-up skills, attention to detail and the ability to train others in all applicable warehouse functions.
